This month, our Rose Tigers are learning about Compassionate Communication- expressing ourselves with kindness, empathy,1 and understanding. Weโre focusing on how our words and actions can build bridges, lift others up, and create a school where everyone feels valued and heard.
To support this learning, we are studying John Lewis, a courageous civil rights leader who believed deeply in the power of peaceful words and actions to create lasting change. He taught us that we can disagree without disrespect and that our voices matter when we use them with love, courage, and care.
โNever, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble.โ โ John Lewis
